Like most moms, I know that the days go by slowly, but the years just fly by. That’s why being a Lifestyle Photographer in Orange County California is so important to me. It lets me freeze all those amazing moments that go by too fast! When a client tells me, “I can’t believe how quickly his first year is going by!” I totally get it! Or “I just want a portrait while she’s still little” I get that too. And I especially get it when someone says, “I’m always the one taking the pictures! It’s time for a family portrait that I’m in too!”. I enjoy capturing families, as I know how important it is for everyone including you (mom) to be in the pictures.

I have had the change to photograph this beautiful family over the last year plus. I absolutely love the warm tones from the gorgeous natural sunshine we are so blessed to receive year round here in Southern California. I love it because I feel it really captures the essence of the season we are in. Not to mention, it makes for the most stunning background. The warm sunshine also reflected this sweet family’s love for each other that you can really see in this session.

Sessions like these are the reason I love what I do! This session was taken in a natural area just outside of my Anaheim Hills studio. Outfits and styling can make or break it right, well this mom did it right thanks to the assistance of our studio stylist. I am not a huge fan of posing you or the kids. This is because I feel candid and natural photos make for the cutest pictures. That’s what lifestyle photography is about! We don’t remember life by the times we sit and pose, but rather by the fun natural moments we have together. One goal of my sessions is to be able to make you feel like you are still in the moment when you look back at the photos.
