Camera Talk for Moms- LEARNING TO SHOOT IN MANUAL WORKSHOP

Do you have a desire for Learning to shoot in Manual mode? Well lets Chat! I LOVE Photography and I love inspiring others. As a mom I appreciate all kinds of pictures, by that I mean I love taking pictures on my “big girl camera” and I love snapping pictures on my cell phone. Both types of pictures have a place in my heart. I am here to encourage and inspire you to take out that “big girl” and tell it what you want it to do!

During this 3 hour class I will teach you how to achieve results you will love. I will teach you about the exposure triangle, metering modes, white balance, camera angles, camera settings, camera terminology, ideal consumer labs to print with and more! Tell me you are not excited about learning to *rock* your camera?!

 

 

EDITING ONLINE- LEARN TO EDITING OUTDOOR IMAGES

Learn to edit with Stevie Cruz Photography. You will see Stevie editing backlit and Green grass settings from start to finish. Her quick and simple process is explained via video format and you will be added to a private mentoring group online for ongoing discussions. Through the online editing course, you will see an overview of how I would edit a photo from a typical outdoor session. I will show you my process of manually editing in ACR and final tweaks in Photoshop (I use CS6).

Mentorships is done via online videos. I often add more content throughout the months so you have continued growth. I never want a mentee overwhelmed so I encourage you to watch little by little, so you can take in all the information. This is especially awesome if you are a visual learner. You can see what I am doing as I do it and I talk you through everything and of course you have the group to post any questions or feedback on your own images.

What you will need:

Photoshop CC. (You do not need CC for these mentorships, but it is highly recommended it. I also recommend basic knowledge of Photoshop; such as Layers and brushes along with how they are used)

*Learn how I bring out the rich, vibrant colors to help make your images pop using simple techniques in ACR and Photoshop. While I won’t be editing in Lightroom, most of the tools available in Lightroom thus you should be able to replicate the keystrokes)

Mentoring sessions are tailored to the aspiring photographer. I often have inquiries asking questions about my branding, which camera I use, how I started my photography business or various other aspects of photography. This has led me to a co-collaboration with Meagan Ready Photography, “Blossom” co-creates simple guides to aid those aspiring photographers as well as 2-day workshops focused on newborn posing and business aspects of the career. Many that follow my journey will agree that I am an open-book. When you sit and chat with me you will have the chance to get to know me and my passion. I will share with you what did and didn’t work when starting out. During the workshop attendees have the change to discuss unlimited topics including: camera equipment & lenses, workflow, post-processing, vendors, branding, marketing, portfolio critiques etc.
