Most know its Fall picture season here in California right now and being a busy mom and business woman I can only book so many evening sessions … which leaves space limited for clients. My best suggestion for all clients is to consider something that seems so taboo- a SUNRISE Session.

Yes, its early.

Yes, its unimaginable to even think of getting up this early let along ready and dressed for pictures.

Yes, I too am crazy for wanting to get up this early but I do it for you.

I get it… LISTEN– I’m often explaining myself to clients saying things like hey wouldn’t it be amazing to get those fresh morning smiles captured of your little ones? My kids wake up full of energy ready to take on the day, a simple breakfast and bam. They are cheerful and wide-eyed. Most moms know the stress that picture day can bring on trying to get your little ones to nap at the perfect magical hour so they wake up refreshed for early evening sunset picture and often times that nap can be a challenge to fit in or a struggle to manage on ‘just when is ideal’ so the child wakes rejuvenated.

I also remind mama of that other special highlight of a Sunrise Fall Picture session- The chance for her (Mom) to get ready while the kids sleep. That means she can do her hair and makeup without a little one clinging to her hip. Yes, mama thats right you can get to sip your coffee and relax as you pamper yourself. Sounds amazing right?

Well the ‘fun’ of Sunrise Fall Pictures highlights don’t end there. I also remind mom that dad can often still get off to work at a manageable time, thats right he can head off to work ready for the day and any school age children can be sent off to school too at a time that won’t inhibit their schedules. Believe me? You should. This session was captured at 7am. I typically shoot for 30 minutes which means Dad was able to jump on the road to work at 7:30am. Thats right, all these amazing pictures were captured at Sunrise here in Orange County in under 30 minutes.
