Mountain, Desert or the Beach? Living in California we are lucky to have it all. This stylish family photo session features a beautiful family, background, and coordinating outfits. Outfits can make or break a session, but this family had it all figured out. Mom did well pulling the whole session all together with outfit ideas. She had a variety of patterns, layers and textures which can make a family shoot really cool. I encourage clients to look at current trends for styles but to base their outfits off their personal style. The more layers the better these days, this includes scarves, vests, jackets, boot socks, hats and so much more. These photos are a great example of a styled session with lots of layers. The family’s outfits all compliment each other and the colors of Fall.

Another beautiful part of this stylish family photo session is the location. These pictures were captured in Palm Desert just East of Orange County. I love how the natural glow and warmth of the setting sun against the mountains really reflects this family’s obvious love for each other, it is just absolutely stunning.
Family pictures look absolutely gorgeous on canvas in your home or in a coffee table album.
