Being a photographer in Orange County I sometimes get so focused on what I am known for in the photographer world. Although I do love captures newborns in all their innocence, there is something about Family pictures that have my heart- natural outdoor sunlight, spontaneous interaction and laughter shared with a family full of love. I love using fresh blooming trees and over grown grassy fields as my back drop. The sun shining through the tree branches in the back-ground really makes for a spectacular family photo. Kids love the open fields to run in and fresh flowers to pick. There is something about the fresh air that makes these types of sessions an enjoyable and pleasant experience.

Take these two sisters, look how sun shines through and lights up behind them making them look like the little angels they truly are. Mom and dad played and laughed as we went about the session. You wouldn’t know it but mom is pregnant with a baby boy, these cute sisters will soon have a baby brother to laugh and play with.

We are so lucky here in sunny Southern California to have great weather and a beautiful sunset just about everyday. With all that said, lifestyle photography is quickly becoming a must shoot for me.
